Patrick Veiga is Research Director at INRAE and Scientific Director of MetaGenoPolis and Le French Gut, a citizen science initiative aiming to characterize the gut microbiome of 100,000 participants. His research focuses on diet–microbiome–health interactions and microbiome-based strategies for health promotion and disease prevention. Previously, he held several scientific positions at Danone Nutricia Research, including Scientific Director, leading research on probiotics and the gut microbiome. He was also appointed Visiting Scientist at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
