Dr. Chris Callewaert is affiliated senior researcher at Ghent University, Belgium and founder of DrArmpit. He studies the skin microbiome and metabolome in health and disease. He is a pioneer in skin microbiome transplantation and skin bacteriotherapy to treat body odor. He created a spin-off, Phiome, that solves body odor. He studies indigenous populations in various remote locations and visited the Yanomami hunter-gatherers in Brazil.
