George Paraskevakos, MBA, is Executive Director of the International Probiotics Association (IPA-Biotics.org), the global voice of pre-, pro-, and post-biotics. He advances IPA’s mission to promote their safe, effecacious use worldwide through science-based advocacy, regulatory engagement, and professional education. Since his appointment, IPA has grown from 40 to 135 member companies globally and opened offices in Europe and China. George represents IPA with regulators, government agencies, at Codex Alimentarius, ISO, and industry stakeholders, and serves on several scientific and academic advisory boards supporting innovation, standards development, and evidence-based policy.
